Cultural Semester Ticket

Studying in Erfurt? Then you automatically have access to a wide range of cultural highlights — at no extra cost! The cultural semester ticket, which is already included in your semester fee, gives you free admission to numerous  museums, memorials and the Erfurt Theatre.

How does it work?

All you have to do is show your student ID at the box office!

Note: Before you visit the Erfurt Theatre for the first time with your Kultursemesterticket cultural semester ticket (student ID), please register once at the theatre's visitor service .

Who can use the cultural semester ticket?

It applies to students at the following Erfurt universities:

• University of Erfurt
• Erfurt University of Applied Sciences
• IU – International University
• HMU – Health and Medical University Erfurt
• iba – University of Cooperative Education

Which cultural venues can you visit free of charge?*

* Note: The ticket is not valid for the DomStufen-Festspiele or guest performances at the Erfurt Theatre.
