Campus meets culture – the university ball
Erfurt dances together on one floor
What a night! In June 2026, Erfurt’s Kaisersaal was transformed for the second time into a gathering place for all dance enthusiasts. Students and faculty from Erfurt’s five universities, as well as the city’s residents, were invited to dance, celebrate, and meet new people together.
Whether swing, jazz or dance classics — the 17-piece Nerly Bigband accompanied the evening with rousing live music, rounded off with DJ sets, dance performances and many other highlights.

After the ball is before the ball: The date for the 2027 Erfurt University Ball has already been set—it’s April 23, 2027!
