Municipal University and Student Advisory Board
Working together for a strong student life!
The role
Since 2011, the Erfurt Municipal University and Student Advisory Board has been the central body in which students, universities and the city work together. It represents the interests of students and universities in general to the city council and is involved in the planning and implementation of programmes and measures for the universities and/or their students. At the same time, it plays an advisory role in the city council's decision-making process.
Together, the aim is to make living and studying in Erfurt even better and to strengthen the university location: through exchange, ideas and joint projects. Topics that are important to students are discussed here — from housing and mobility to cultural and leisure activities. How can the city of Erfurt support students? Which services can be optimised? How can we make all students feel welcome here? All this and much more is discussed by the Advisory Board. Projects such as the Studi Welcome Party at the start of the semester have their origins in this committee.
